Gratuity

₹0 of ₹28,860 realised

Gratuity needs 5 years of continuous service. You expect 3 — so this is CTC you will not receive.

Variable pay

No variable pay entered. If your offer has a performance bonus, add it in the breakup — we model it at a realistic payout, not 100%.

Worth knowing

Things your offer letter doesn't say

  • Bengaluru is not a metro for HRA — your exemption is capped at 40% of basic, not 50%.
  • The new regime wins here. How you split your flexi basket makes no difference to your tax — take it all as cash.
  • FBP component exemptions (LTA, meal card, etc.) are not modelled, so the old-regime figure is understated for a large flexi basket.
  • ₹28,860 of this CTC is a gratuity provision you won't receive unless you stay 5 years (you expect 3).
  • TDS is shown as an even monthly spread; your actual monthly deduction may differ with declaration timing.

For estimation only — not tax or financial advice. Actual liability depends on your individual circumstances and your employer's payroll practice. Tax year 2026-27 · ITA-2025.

What this gets right

The three things generic salary calculators miss most often.

  • 87A marginal relief

Just past ₹12 lakh, your tax is capped at the amount you went over. Most calculators charge the full slab tax and overstate it by tens of thousands.

  • Phantom CTC

Employer PF, gratuity provisions and insurance sit inside your CTC but never reach your bank account. We separate them out.

  • Realistic variable

Performance pay is modelled at the payout you actually expect, not an optimistic 100%, and taxed when it is paid.
